Who we are

John Taylor

Director

The resident Director at the Ashbourne office is a Chartered Surveyor who has been involved in the Ashbourne property market since 1985. opened the Fidler Taylor office there in 1994 and is involved in all aspects of the business from market appraisals to property surveys and commercial professional works to chattels valuations. John is a member of Rotary and involved in numerous community matters and enjoys shooting and fishing in his leisure time.

Simon Croft

Director

Simon joined Fidler Taylor in 1997 and has predominantly been involved in residential sales and lettings at the Matlock and Chesterfield Offices. He is experienced in all aspects of property agency including commercial, sales and letting, agricultural and land sales and development appraisals.Simon is a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and National Association of Estates Agents (NAEA) and also an Accredited Domestic Energy Assessor.

Reflecting the company’s professional ethic, Simon offers an honest and straight forward approach to valuation and marketing and provides realistic advice borne from experience in one of the busiest general practices in the locality.

Joanne Griffiths

Valuer/Negotiator

Jo grew up in Wirksworth starting her career in estate agency as apprentice in 1996. Over the past twenty years Jo has progressed through various roles to become a successful valuer in Ashbourne also working in Staffordshire. Jo has opened and developed branches in the local area, developing a strong client focused ethos. Outside of work Jo's two young daughters and lively puppy keep her busy.

As with all our staff, Alex is a local chap who joined us in 2021. A valuable addition to our sales team, assisting Simon Croft from our Matlock office, Alex brings wide experience from alternative industries yet already demonstrating sound and valued industry knowledge. A passion for property will see a long career in estate agency.

Lettings and Property Management

Jacob brings a down to earth approach and enthusiastic attitude to our long serving lettings team which combine across each office to provide the experience and expertise needed to advise landlords and tenants.
