A welcomed and successful return to a face to face Public
Auction saw strong bidding and a somewhat surprising result for the vendor..
Our in-house auctioneer John Taylor expertly conducted proceedings and was
pleased to be back with a gavel following the Covid induced lay-off.
The single Lot, attracted a room full of interest and
numerous bidders willing to have a go. The hammer fell at a healthy £450,000,
highlighting the demand for individual opportunities and continued strength in
the market.
Public auction, in a local room without onerous charges to
buyers or seller, remains a highly satisfactory way to achieve the fairest and
often best results for the right property and security of a legally binding
contract on the fall of the hammer. Land, property for renovation and
development or investment opportunities all may be right for a sale by auction.
